About this modpack
Cobblemon Ori Starlight
DESCRIPTION
This modpack is based on Cobblemon version 1.6, along with several related addons and data packs, including:
- Radical Cobblemon Trainers: NPC battles in cobblemon world.
- Cobblemon Rider: Pokémon riding functionality.
- Cobblemon Capture XP: Experience gained from capturing Pokémon.
- Cobblemon Move Inspector: Additional battle information.
- Cobblemon UI Tweaks: UI optimizations.
- Cobblemon - Fight or Flight: A real-time Pokémon battle system.
- Cobblemon Spawn Notification: Notifications for legendary Pokémon spawns.
- Cobbreeding: Expanded functionality for ranch blocks in Cobblemon.
- CobbleDollars: A Pokémon economy system.
- Cobblemon Knowlogy: A knowledge manual for the Cobblemon mod.
- Cobblemon Pokenav: A Pokémon radar.
- Adds 220 new Pokémon via data packs, supplementing the unfinished parts of Cobblemon 1.6.
- Flourish mod & soul-megas: Mod and Datapack for Pokémon Mega Evolution.
- Hulis-z-Crystals: Z-Move functionality, with blank Z-Crystals synthesized via a particle accelerator.
- SimpleTMs: Allows players to teach moves to their Pokémon in Cobblemon using TMs and TRs.
- Adds Pokémon towns, legendary Pokémon ruins, and more through data packs.
- This modpack integrates elements of adventure, technology, and dimensional exploration.
Resource packs and visual enhancement mods improve the visual experience, including features like 3D Mace, 3D swords, fresh animations, fresh moves, refined particle effects, and water ripples, all of which are configurable.
In the overworld, the data pack MoreMobs adds variants of vanilla monsters, fully compatible with FreshAnimation. Vanilla structure generation has also been improved via data packs for a better exploration experience.
Beyond Cobblemon, the core of this modpack lies in Oritech and Eternal Starlight:
- Poké Ball recipes and some other items have been modified, requiring progression in Oritech, a high-quality new technology mod.
- Eternal Starlight, a high-quality dimensional mod, is also linked to the crafting of some Poké Balls. Better End and Better Nether are included to enhance dimension gameplay, and materials from these mods can be used for Poké Ball crafting. Some materials are interchangeable, while others are unique.
For casual players, mods like Farmer’s Delight and the Macaw's Furniture collection provide a relaxing experience. In summary, aside from the Pokémon training and battling elements, this modpack maintains a vanilla-style approach, with low difficulty, making it ideal for laid-back gameplay.
Loot tables have been extensively modified to fit the Cobblemon mod. Items such as XP candies, consumables, and evolution items can be found through exploration. This even includes archaeological loot and rewards from trial room jars. Through data packs, Pokémon can now also spawn within the Eternal Starlight dimension.
