01·Is the free tier really free?
Yes. No card. A real 1 GB server with 10 AI requests per day, enough to try Orca on a small SMP. Upgrade when you outgrow it.
02·How do AI requests work?
Each action the AI runs, like spinning up a server or pulling analytics, uses one request. Free gets 10 on a faster, cheaper model that resets daily. Paid plans run the premium model (100 on Starter up to 800 on Max) on a pool that refills every 4 hours, then fall back to the fast model once spent, so they never cut off. Free pauses when its pool is spent and resumes at the next daily reset.
03·Is there a trial?
Free is the trial. No card and no account deadline, but each free server is temporary: it runs for 12 hours, then expires. Test the core hosting flow, start a 1 GB server, invite friends, use the free AI request pool and curated presets. Upgrade for an always-on server, more RAM, premium AI credits, custom plugin generation, and arbitrary mod installs.
04·Why pay if a plain host is cheaper?
For raw hosting, a plain host is cheaper. Orca's difference is the AI admin: describe the server you want in plain English and it builds and runs it, no control panel or config files. Paid adds more RAM and a bigger request pool.
05·Is the AI different across tiers?
Free runs the faster, cheaper model. Paid plans run the premium model, then fall back to the cheaper one once the pool is spent. Bigger tiers get a larger pool.
06·Refunds?
Try the core hosting flow on free first. Partial months aren't pro-rated, but you can cancel and keep access through the period you paid for.
