Connect a server you host elsewhere
Already run a Minecraft server on a Pterodactyl host? Connect it to Orca and manage it next to your Orca servers.
Connect a Pterodactyl server in three steps
Bring your Pterodactyl server in
Paste your panel URL and an API key. Orca validates it against the live panel and imports the server. Your key is encrypted at rest.
Manage it from one place
Once imported, your external server sits alongside your Orca-hosted servers so you manage them together.
Works with Pterodactyl hosts
Many popular hosts run Pterodactyl, for example Bisect, Sparked, and GGServers. If your host uses Pterodactyl, you can connect it.
Validated against your live panel
Orca checks your panel URL and API key against the live Pterodactyl panel before it imports anything. Your key is encrypted at rest, and your server keeps running on the host you already use.
Questions about connecting a server
Which hosts can I connect?
Pterodactyl-based hosts. If your provider runs the Pterodactyl panel, you can paste your panel URL and an API key and Orca will import the server.
Is my API key safe?
Yes. Your API key is encrypted at rest. Orca uses it to validate the connection against your live panel and to manage the server you import.
Can I connect a server over plain SFTP or RCON?
Today the supported path is a Pterodactyl panel connection. A raw SFTP or RCON connection to a non-Orca host is not available yet, so connecting a server means connecting it through its Pterodactyl panel.
Do I have to move off my current host?
No. Your server stays where it is. Connecting it to Orca lets you manage it next to your Orca servers, and it keeps running on the host you already use.
