Overview
Orca makes Minecraft mods and addons with AI. Sign in with Google or Discord, describe the feature you want, and Orca writes a mod, addon, or plugin and compiles it for you. No Java setup, no coding required. You can also browse a catalogue of 39,000+ projects to pull in. When something is ready, host it on a real server: Orca boots one on Azure in about 30 seconds, running Paper, Vanilla, Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge, with free Bedrock crossplay on Paper.
Quickstart
- 1Open the Orca app and sign in with Google or Discord. No card, no setup form.
- 2Pick a size and region. The free plan is 8 GB for up to 40 players.
- 3Orca boots a real server in about 30 seconds and hands you a join address like
your-server.orc.host. - 4Share the address with your friends and hop in. A free server pauses when no one's online and wakes when you start it. Your world is kept. Upgrade any time for an always-on server.
Create & browse
Browse indexes 39,000+ Minecraft projects, mostly from Modrinth: mods, modpacks, plugins, data packs, resource packs, and shaders. Search and filter by type, loader (Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Quilt, Paper) and category, and sort by downloads or newest.
Want something that does not exist yet? Skip the catalogue and describe it. Ask Orca to build a custom mod, addon, or plugin and it writes the code, compiles it, and drops the .jar onto your server. Found an existing project you like? Click Create with Orca on it to start a server set up for it. You sign in, land on the create wizard with that project picked, and Orca selects the matching loader automatically (Paper for plugins, Fabric for Fabric mods).
Create with Orca boots a server of the right type for your pick. Once you are in the console, ask Orca to build a custom plugin or install that mod or modpack and it drops onto your running server (paid plans).
Ask Orca
Every server has a chat with Orca, your AI admin. Type what you want in plain English. Chat is free, and so is building, downloading, and installing mods and plugins. Here is what Orca can do today:
Plans & hosting
Making mods is free and unlimited for everyone, and every mod download is free too. What you pay for is hosting: a bigger Minecraft server. Full details are on the hosting page.
| Server | Price |
|---|---|
| 8 GB | Free |
| 2 GB | $4.99/mo |
| 4 GB | $8.99/mo |
| 8 GB | $17.99/mo |
| 16 GB | $34.99/mo |
Everyone, free included, gets an 8 GB server. Orca Pro ($19.99/mo) is the upgrade: Orca Max, our most powerful AI, plus private mods. Need more RAM than your plan includes? Add it by the gigabyte from the ladder above. Any account can.
Unlimited mod making, free mod downloads, play on a real Orca server through the free desktop client, and your own 8 GB server, no card. Your creations stay private until you publish them to the catalog; making a published mod private again comes with Orca Pro.
Regions
Pick where your server runs when you create it. Choose the region closest to most of your friends for the lowest ping. Live regions:
More regions are coming. Pricing is the same everywhere. You set the region at create time; moving a server to another region later is not supported yet, so pick the one closest to your group when you start.
Affiliates & creators
Two ways to partner with Orca. Both pay the same: people who sign up through you take 20% off their first payment, and you earn 50% of what they spend in their first 30 days, paid once per customer. Commission applies to paid plans.

FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan gives you an 8 GB server for up to 40 players with no credit card. A free server pauses when no one's online and wakes when you start it. Your world is kept. Upgrade to a paid plan for an always-on server.
Do I need a credit card?
Not for the free plan. You only add a card when you upgrade to Orca Pro or buy a bigger server.
How do I sign in?
With Google or Discord. One click, no setup form.
Java and Bedrock?
Java on every plan, and Bedrock crossplay is free. On a Paper server Orca runs Geyser and Floodgate, and Bedrock players (phone, console, tablet) join the same world on UDP port 19132. A private server does not need a dedicated IP for this, and public servers hosted on Orca get a free dedicated IP for the Bedrock side.
What about big modpacks?
Browse 6,000+ modpacks and install one from chat. Orca sets your 8 GB server up with the pack and tunes it to run; lighter packs are the sweet spot for an 8 GB box.
Where does the catalogue come from?
