How it works

From idea to working mod in three steps

1

Describe your mod

Type what you want in one sentence. A fire-breathing dragon you can ride, a sword that drops diamonds, a new biome made of candy. Plain English, no code.

2

Orca builds it

The AI writes the code, makes the textures, and compiles a real .jar. It tests the mod by loading it into Minecraft, then fixes anything that breaks.

3

Download or host it

Get the finished mod file to drop into your launcher, or play it instantly on a free Orca server you and your friends can join.

What you can make

Mobs, items, blocks, biomes, plugins, and more

If you can describe it, Orca can build it. Here is what people make most.

Mobs

Tameable dragons, custom bosses, friendly pets with their own AI and drops.

Items & tools

Weapons, armor, food, and gadgets with custom abilities and recipes.

Blocks

New blocks, ores, machines, and decorations that behave however you describe.

Biomes & dimensions

Whole new worlds: floating islands, candy biomes, custom Nether dimensions.

Plugins

Paper and Spigot plugins for your server: economy, minigames, leaderboards, claims.

Data packs

Custom crafting, loot tables, advancements, and functions with no mod loader needed.

Questions about making Minecraft mods with AI

Is it free to make a Minecraft mod with AI?

Yes. You can describe a mod, watch Orca build it, and test it on a free server with no credit card. The free tier includes AI credits every month. Paid plans add more credits, always-on hosting, and bigger servers when you outgrow free.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe the mod in plain English and Orca writes all the code, makes the textures, and compiles the mod for you. If you can describe it, you can make it. You never open a code editor.

What Minecraft versions does it support?

Orca targets current versions first, including 1.21 and 1.20, and can build for older versions when you ask. Just say the version in your prompt, for example "make this for 1.20.1", and Orca builds for that exact version.

Does it work for Bedrock Edition?

Yes. Orca can build Bedrock addons (behavior and resource packs) for the version of Minecraft on phones, consoles, and Windows, as well as Java mods for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge. Tell Orca which edition you play.

Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge: which one does it use?

All of them. Orca builds for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge on Java. If you do not have a preference it picks the loader that best fits your version, or you can name the loader in your prompt.

How long does it take to make a mod?

Most mods are built in a few minutes. Orca writes the code, compiles a real .jar, and loads it into Minecraft to check it works before handing it to you. Bigger or more complex mods take a little longer.

Can I sell or publish the mod I make?

The mods you make are yours to use, publish on Modrinth or CurseForge, and share with your community. Check the marketplace rules for the platform you publish on, since some have their own monetization policies.

Can I edit or add to a mod after it is built?

Yes. Keep chatting. Say "add a second attack", "change the texture to purple", or "make it spawn in the Nether" and Orca updates the same mod and rebuilds it. You iterate by talking, not by editing files.

How do I install the mod once it is made?

Download the .jar and drop it in your mods folder with the matching loader installed, the same as any mod. Or skip installing entirely and play the mod on a free Orca server that you and your friends can join instantly.

Can I make plugins and data packs too, not just mods?

Yes. Orca builds Paper and Spigot plugins for servers, vanilla-friendly data packs that need no loader, mods, and Bedrock addons. Just describe what you want and say whether it is for your client or your server.
