DeckCraft (or Minecraft on SteamDeck)

You own a SteamDeck, or any other Handheld? You want to play Minecraft? (obviously yes) but...

Sadly, there's no native way to play with all the controls and customisations required to be able to play on the handheld.

With DeckCraft, you can play Minecraft on your Steam Deck, Controller, ROG ALLY, without any issues.

Controller Support

Thanks to MidnightControls, now you can play with controllers, especially on the Steam Deck.

Optimization and More FPS!

Better Rendering: VulkanMod rewrites Minecraft's OpenGL renderer to Vulkan.

Better Multithreading: Concurrent Chunk Management Engine (C2ME), Minecraft now takes advantage of the multiple cores and threads of a CPU to do tasks faster and in parrallel.

Better Memory Management: FerriteCore reduces the memory usage and thus allows to run Minecraft on more systems and with more mods.

Better Light Calculation: ScalableLux is the continuation of Starlight and makes the lighting calculation way faster and in parrallel.

Quality of Life (QOL)

Thanks to Language Reload, you can change languages without waiting ages. It prevents unecessary loadings.

Orca uses the project's published metadata and version files as the source of truth. Item, block, mob, recipe, structure, dimension, GUI, and mechanic pages are added after their included mod files are extracted and attributed.
