About this modpack
Finally, a Modpack That Only Contains Performance Optimizations
(Client-side only)
This modpack focuses purely on performance improvements without changing visuals or gameplay. Overlays, particles, and other features remain unmodified. The only PvP advantage is slightly reduced input latency from improved frame rates.
Compatibility:
- This modpack is designed for client-side optimization. Server compatibility has not been tested and is out of scope for now.
- It’s guaranteed to work in singleplayer and should work on servers, but no promises.
Development Notes:
- Optimization mods vary in effectiveness across versions due to fixes, patches, or mod updates. Some mods might not work in newer versions, while others may become redundant.
- Development might pause at times, but I always try to ensure updates are made when possible.
<details> <summary>Alternative to Sodium (VulkanMod)</summary>
- Consider VulkanMod for potential performance boosts. Though I don't recommend it with this modpack.
- Note: Some Sodium add-ons (e.g., Nvidium) are not compatible with Vulkan. Test and see what works best for your setup.
- Future versions may explore Vulkan-specific builds, but for now, stability is the priority.
