About this modpack

Simply Enhanced; Purely Vanilla. As intended

Tons of Features

SimplyVanilla has as many QoL features as you need, while still feeling like they should be in the vanilla game.

HUGE Focus on immersion

With multiple mods, such as Ambient Sounds & Subtle Effects, it immerses you in the world you're playing on

Client side

Even with the teeming amount of mods, you can still play on servers

Frequent updates

As a solo person in this project, I try to keep up to date with official game and mod updates; but because I'm always playing Minecraft, updates come really quick

<details> <summary>Frequently Asked Questions</summary>

  • Q: Where in the nether are Iris Shaders?
  • A: Iris shaders are GONE. SimplyVanilla aims to upgrade the vanilla graphics, and shaders breaks some mods/resource packs. Until official shader support happens, you'll have to install Iris by yourself for now.

-----

  • Q: How do I enable/disable mods?
  • A: If you're using the modrinth app, search for the project you're looking for, and toggle it on/off. There are guides for other launchers.

-----

  • Q: There's a bug on the loose/Something is broken
  • A: Currently, there is no way to report issues as of now :(

-----

  • Q: I like this modpack. What can I do to support you?
  • A: Don't support me, support the developers who sacrificed their time to make these great mods in this modpack. Although credit for if you mention it in a gameplay video would be apreciated for me :)

-----

  • Q: I want my mod/resource pack to be part of SimplyVanilla
  • A: I am actively looking for hidden gems with few downloads. If you have a project you would like to see added, contact me on Discord (@DiskVreaker)
